Even though we live in the city, occasionally we see something very typically Southwestern and desert-y in the city itself. For instance, I very briefly saw a roadrunner a few weeks ago:
That was too quick to get any footage of beyond the photos above (as one would expect), but this tumbleweed was a lot slower and just hanging around in the middle of the road:
