Given how busy we have been with getting our lives set up, we haven’t had time to go exploring and do things that are as film worthy as our journey last year. We have filmed a few experiences here and there though. For instance, upon seeing just how much our apartment complex is willing to do for us from fix anything on the day and regular rubbish collection just outside our door, Chris wondered how far we could took this concept of not spending our time and energy doing things that someone else can probably do better. It resulted in his first pedicure as he figured a professional is probably going to faster and better at cutting his nails than he is. If it wasn’t my first, it was my first in a great long time as I don’t especially remember getting one before.
It was definitely more than just a nail cutting. I hadn’t realized it also doubles as a massage from the knee down and they had back massaging chairs, so it was a very pleasant experience.
We also finally got a cheese grater. This is not exciting, but it will be nice to not have to buy pre-shredded cheese. The reason it took so long is we accidentally ordered one from India and it was shipped on a boat. Always check where it’s coming from if it’s third party seller on Amazon.
