Today I went to the U.S equivalent of B&Q called Menards.
This hardware store was so big that they had space to sell other items that had nothing to do with home improvement (DIY). It’s also my father-in-law’s favourite store. He even has a dancing/singing Menards teddy bear.
Something I noticed on previous visits was that there were certain items you could buy anywhere regardless of what type of shop you’re in. I’m somewhat used to being able to buy a Coke in lots of places. But in the U.S, it may soon be the case that that there will be nowhere left that won’t sell you a yogurt.
